Forever Trusting NYC's Cantonese Craftsmanship 🥹 Taro Stewed Duck, Irresistible ❤️

I saw their Steamed Eel with Black Bean Sauce on social media and it had me drooling! I quickly made a reservation with the boss and rushed straight to Chinatown as soon as work ended on Friday [cute emoji] Flipping through the menu, I wanted to order everything—it felt just like the old-school Guangzhou restaurants I visited during my trip there. You know what I mean! 🧡 Braised Duck with Taro: With Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner 🎑, I was wondering where to get my taro duck fix, but here it was, fresh and delicious! The broth was thick and gooey, the duck meat was all prime cuts, and the texture was out of this world. The large chunks of Lipu taro were soft and starchy, and the sauce was savory with a hint of sweetness—perfect with a big bowl of rice!! 🩵 Steamed Eel with Black Bean Sauce: I've been dreaming about this! Never thought I could find such a delicacy in New York [amazed emoji]. The eel skin was soft, the meat was springy, and the black bean and garlic sauce was absolutely divine! 🩷 Steamed Pork Ribs with Chencun Noodles: This was my first time seeing this dish in New York. The Chencun noodles were so smooth and tender, and the pork ribs were juicy and flavorful. Be sure to mix it well so that every strand of noodle is coated in that delicious black bean sauce to maximize the flavor [sipping tea emoji] 💛 Crispy Glutinous Rice Rolls: Stuffed with sesame, peanuts, and coconut, these crispy rolls are a must-try! The table next to us ordered the durian flavor, and it looked so tempting… I'll have to try that next time! 🤍 I also spotted Salted Egg Yolk BBQ Pork, Braised Pork Belly with Lettuce, and Crispy Fried Oysters with Golden Sand on the menu… They all looked so good, but alas, I only have one stomach, so I'll have to come back for more [drooling emoji] 🌟 Lady Chow Kitchen 📍 171 Hester St, New York, NY 10013 #NewYork #NYCmidautumn #NYCfood #NYCchinese #NYCfoodguide #NYCfoodie #NYCfoodporn #NYClife #NYCexplore #NYCweekend
