The Design and Aesthetics of a Western-Style Fusion Building ๐ ๐๐ Opening windows at mid to high levels on the walls is likely a deliberate design technique to break the sense of enclosure in the space. In the corridors on the first and second floors, light yellow walls are used. The combination of light yellow walls + glass windows + petal-shaped warm light lamps creates a certain American vintage country aesthetic. ๐๐ The exterior facade and large balcony are also in light yellow, a color choice that feels somewhat "bold" in my memory. ๐จ All the indoor lights are selected to be curved. Compared to using sharply defined rectangular lights, the curved lights + dark wooden materials + light yellow walls together create a space that feels warm, serene, and well-defined. ๐๐ From a personal experience, the color contrast does feel somewhat pronounced, and to be honest, it still feels a bit disjointed. It's indeed a Western-style fusion building. ๐ฐ #Tokyo ๐๐
