France | Orangerie Museum ·Monet ·Matisse

❣️ The Orangerie Museum is located next to the Tuileries Garden and not far from the Louvre. Its signature work is Monet's eight large-scale "Water Lilies." ❣️ Although I have seen various versions of "Water Lilies," I was still shocked by the version in the Orangerie. 🥰 In the exhibition hall, it is easier to immerse yourself in Monet's unique colors and brushstrokes, which indeed give a sense of "an endless illusion." 😍 Recently, the Orangerie also exhibited works from the 1930s by Henri Matisse, a representative figure of Fauvism, and introduced in detail some details and changes in Matisse's painting at that time, which is worth seeing. 🥰 The Orangerie is not very large, with exhibits mainly concentrated on the first floor and the lower level two. 📖 The first floor is the Monet exhibition hall, the lower level two features the Matisse special exhibition and some regular exhibits of the Orangerie, including works by Picasso, Renoir, and other famous artists. The lower level one is a café and souvenir shop. 🧐 Overall, it takes 1-2 hours to browse, suitable for sisters who want to have a quick visit to the museum without getting too tired. ⚠️ PS: 😍 France is probably in the peak tourist season recently, as we couldn't get tickets for the Orangerie on weekends just a few days in advance, and finally got them through a travel agency. ⚠️ Sisters who want to enter smoothly on weekends should book tickets at least one week in advance. #France #TravelGuide #MyTravelDiary #RecommendedCheckIn #Visit
