France ❣️ Bordeaux Place de la Bourse

1.🧩 Place de la Bourse Square is a historic square in the French city of Bordeaux, located on the banks of the Garonne River. It is a symbol of the city's prosperity and an important tourist attraction. 2.🧩The square was originally built in the 18th century when, in order to showcase Bordeaux's modern and hospitable image, the city administrator Boucher demolished a section of the medieval city wall surrounding the city and established the Royal Square here. It was designed by the famous architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, who also designed the Place de la Concorde in Paris and the Palace of Versailles. 3.🧩Originally, a statue of King Louis XV on horseback was placed in the center of the square, but it was replaced by the Three Graces Fountain in 1869. This fountain has become the symbol of the square, surrounded by a beautiful reflecting pool. Although the water is only 2 centimeters deep, the reflected scenery is very enchanting. 4.🧩In addition, there are symmetrical buildings on both sides of the square, including the Exchange Palace and the National Customs Museum. These buildings constitute a magnificent 18th-century architectural complex in the southwest of France. 5.🧩In summary, Bordeaux Exchange Square is not only an important historical landmark but also a great place to appreciate French classical architecture. At the same time, it is also an important window for tourists to understand the development of the city of Bordeaux. #TravelGuide #ExchangeSquare #France #RecommendedPlaces #Travel
