I've been out and about recently, and I've accumulated so many photos on my phone that it's giving me a headache just looking at them. So, I've decided to sort through them while sharing some of the highlights. When it comes to French literature, Victor Hugo is one of the most frequently mentioned authors. He was a representative figure of 19th-century Romanticism, with works such as "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame," "Les Misérables," and "The Man Who Laughs." 🔹 Victor Hugo's Former Residence: Free admission, open every day at 10 AM and 6 PM, closed on Mondays ♨️ Please note that entry stops half an hour before closing, the museum will be closed on July 14th for the torch relay, and on July 26th, it will open until 2 PM. 🔹 Special Olympics-Themed Exhibition "The Hugos and Fencing": Also free to visit, running from April 27th to September 15th, showcasing the Hugo family's fencing activities and the Olympic humanistic ideas reflected in Hugo's works. 🔹 The Courtyard Café Mulot: After visiting Victor Hugo's former residence, you can sit for a while in the courtyard and enjoy a simple yet delicious afternoon tea ☕️🍰 Of course, you can also take a walk around the nearby Place des Vosges. Walking through Victor Hugo's former home allows you to gain a more concrete understanding of his works, life, and the era in which he lived. #VictorHugoHome #VictorHugo #EuropeanLife #Paris #Europe #France #ParisOlympics #Paris
