From SOHO to Chinatown(2) π
A Glimpse of Old New York π Just a stone's throw away from the heart of New York's financial district, this place feels like a different world. ππ There are no towering skyscrapers here. Instead, you'll find colorful, old buildings with a dense array of vintage signs. This stark contrast to the nearby Empire State Building, World Trade Center, and luxury apartments makes it feel like you're experiencing two different eras in the same city. π½ ππChinatown: A Taste of Home π Chinatown is still a haven for Chinese cuisine. You can find Hong Kong-style pastry shops on every corner. It's been a while since I've seen such affordable prices. The quality is great, and the bread tastes just like it did when I was a kid. ππ For someone with a Chinese palate like me, being able to enjoy familiar flavors after a day of sightseeing is truly super happy. π #LifeInUSA #AmericanLife #LivingAbroad ππ
