There's also an installation piece by Yinka Shonibare titled "The Woman Shooting Cherry Blossoms" . 🌟🌸 The woman's head is made of a globe, and regions on the globe are marked with the names of women who have contributed to women's rights. 🌿For example, in the Japan section, there's Chizuko Ueno. Take a closer look when you visit. The woman represents a Japanese image, dressed in a tight - waisted outfit symbolizing Japan's reform period. 🌟🌸 It also features Yinka Shonibare's signature African textile patterns. Cherry blossoms are shot from a rifle - quite creative! 🌸 Mona Hatoum's "+" and "-" The artist was born in Lebanon, is of Palestinian descent, and later moved to London. 🌟🌸 The work is an electric installation. A circular sand pit with a diameter of about four meters has a rotating electric arm that slowly sweeps across the surface. One side of the electric arm draws lines in the sand, while the other side simultaneously erases these lines, in a continuous cycle. 🌿 It represents the interaction between two opposing forces and is one of the most important works in the artist's career. #Fukuoka 🌿
