Fukutoku Shrine πΏ
Not far from Mitsukoshi Department Store, Fukutoku Shrine has a history of a thousand years. π’π It once attracted the famous Tokugawa Ieyasu to pay homage. ππΊAmidst the towering skyscrapers, the red torii gate may seem jarring at first glance, but upon visiting, you'll find it seamlessly integrated into the street. During the Edo period, the shogunate-recognized "fukumai" (a type of lottery) was extremely popular. π’π This legacy means that to this day, many devotees still come to pray for winning the lottery. This aligns with the financial nature of Nihonbashi. ππΊ #Tokyo
