Gaonnuri: Korean BBQ ๐
The weather has been chilly lately, and I was craving some good old-fashioned Korean BBQ. I had planned to go to NUBIANI with a friend (I personally think they have some of the best meat quality in Koreatown). ๐๐ธ For me, the quality of the meat is crucialโbad meat can really ruin the experience. And letโs not forget the importance of the staff knowing how to grill properly. I once had a disastrous experience at Antoya, where the wind was blowing so hard that the staff gave me a piece of burnt, blackened beef tongue... ๐๐ธThis time, my friend and I opted for the BBQ set. The sides were as abundant as ever, with the classic combination of small dishes, soup, and eggs. The meat was decent, but it didnโt blow me away. I managed to eat about 30% of the meat before feeling a bit overwhelmed. One thing I really appreciated about the environment was the lack of noise. The background music was quiet, and the spacing between tables made the place feel open and comfortable. ๐๐ธ Most places in Ktown are noisy, crowded, and have loud background music, making it hard to have a conversation without straining your voice. This place was a pleasant exception. #NewYork ๐๐
