Gateway to the City - St. Louis

While it may not be a top tourist destination, it’s definitely a city with unique charm. 🏙️ There’s a lot of talk online about St. Louis being a dangerous city, but that mainly refers to East St. Louis (north of the Mississippi River), which is in Illinois. The West St. Louis area in Missouri is perfectly fine! 😊 Without further ado, if you ever get the chance to visit, don’t miss these must-see spots: 📍 Gateway Arch National Park 11 North 4th Street, St. Louis, MO 63102 How can you visit St. Louis without checking out the iconic Gateway Arch? 🏛️ This arch is actually one of America’s 63 national parks. Unlike other parks known for natural landscapes, this one represents history and culture, symbolizing the city’s rise and fall. Visiting the arch itself is free, but if you want to take the tram to the top for a stunning view of downtown St. Louis and the Mississippi River, it costs $15 (National Park pass holders save $3, but it’s not free). 📍 Washington University in St. Louis 1 Brookings Dr, St. Louis, MO 63130 A prestigious private university in St. Louis! 🎓 The campus architecture is beautiful, and it’s close to Forest Park. Plus, there are plenty of great Chinese restaurants nearby—definitely worth a visit! 📍 Forest Park St. Louis, MO 63112 This massive urban park is perfect for a relaxing stroll. 🌳 But what makes it special?
