George Eastman | Founder of Kodak | Inventor of Film(2) 📸✨

In 1878, Eastman invented the dry gelatin film, and the invention of dry plates greatly advanced the development of photography. 🌊🎢 In 1886, Eastman developed roll film, known as "Eastman Film." In 1886, Eastman also introduced a new type of camera. In June 1888, the small camera "Kodak No. 1" was launched. Eastman's company was renamed Eastman Kodak Company in 1892. 🌟 In 1913, Eastman numbered the film and specified which film should be used in cameras. From 1912 to 1920, Eastman anonymously provided MIT with twenty million dollars in cash and Kodak stock during its low period. 🌊🎢 Later, to honor his contribution, MIT erected a statue of him on campus. 🌟Eastman loved to travel. After retiring, he enjoyed hunting in Africa; later, his originally robust body was suddenly struck by a serious illness, and the torment of cancer caused him great suffering. On March 14, 1932, George Eastman ended his life by shooting himself in the chest, leaving a note that read: "To my friends: My work is done.
