Giving 10,000 Thumbs Up for This Surprisingly Amazing Restaurant 🍣

🌟I scoured the internet and was shocked that no one had written about this place! How is that possible! Well, I’ll be the first one to do so 👉🏼 🌟Oh, a shoutout to my boyfriend here, he suggested: “Starting this week, let’s check out a well-reviewed store/restaurant/café every week, and if you like it, write a post about it; if not, we’ll just leave it.” (He knows I have an infinite passion for exploring and food, and he often says that once he graduates and gets his big boy job, I can retire immediately and become a food blogger that I love, haha!) 🌟I wasn’t planning to post about it, that if everyone finds out, it might turn into a crowded spot and lose its special charm for us. But then I was quickly persuaded by my boyfriend’s “critical education”: “How are you going to be a food blogger if you don’t share!?” Okay, fair point, lol. So, here I go··· 🌟Nested in downtown Phoenix, this Japanese izakaya is just lovely. Walking out after dinner and strolling under the sunset is also wonderful. It’s a very cute area overall. We’re quite boring and neither of us drinks alcohol, so we can’t comment on their sake, but let’s talk about the food. 🌟For appetizers, we ordered Shishito Peppers and Wagyu Gyoza. I have to say, a Japanese restaurant with Shishito Peppers as a side dish is a first for me in AZ, and as a pepper fan, my appreciation level shot up instantly. 🌟For the main course, my boyfriend chose Tuna Zuke and Hana Roll, while I had Chef’s Choice (Nigiri) and a few Veggie Nigiris. Everything was unexpectedly delicious. Using king oyster mushrooms and eggplants in sushi is also a first for me, and I loved it. 🌟There’s no soy sauce or wasabi on the table because the flavors of all the dishes are carefully designed by the chef. He wants guests to taste the ideal flavors of the ingredients as he envisions them. And with all that we ordered, the bill came to just $100, which is incredible value for money! #Arizona #ArizonaState #ArizonaCuisine #ArizonaLife #ArizonaExploration #ArizonaRestaurants #ArizonaTravel
