It is also referred to as the "Crystal Palace". King Frederick II was the first to include this castle in the royal palaces, hence the name. It is said that the one who loved this castle the most was King Frederick VII, who accepted the constitutional monarchy. He enjoyed fishing from the window with a fishing rod directly into the lake. ⌛ Frederiksborg Castle is majestic, with a total of 60 halls, earning it the nickname "Denmark's Versailles". It boasts a grand church that served as the coronation site for Danish kings from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Since 1693, it has also been the church of the knights, with the coats of arms hanging on the walls as a testament. In 1859, a fire destroyed most of the castle. Carl Jacobsen, the founder of Carlsberg Brewery, donated money for the restoration of Frederiksborg Castle, and more than 70 rooms were restored to their original state.
