Global No. 11 Bar Handshake Speakeasy

🍸In 2023, four bars from Mexico City made it to the list of the World's 50 Best Bars. I first explored Handshake Speakeasy, which ranked 11th, and every cocktail was delicious! There were 10 cocktails on the menu, and we ordered 9 of them. We tasted each one carefully and wrote reviews. It was so good that we definitely want to come back for more. 🍸Matcha Dame Blanche: The base spirit is gin, with a matcha aroma and vanilla flavor, accompanied by fine white chocolate powder. It has a herbal taste, unique and quite good. Campfire: The base spirit is Dewan 12 Scotch blended whiskey, mixed with lapsang souchong tea, and served with a roasted marshmallow. It has a smoky bitterness with a touch of sweetness, like the taste of first love. 🍸Caprese: The base spirit is gin, flavored with tomato and basil. It has an aromatic herbal taste, smooth on the palate. Though not stunning, it's still very tasty. Sencha: The base spirit is sake, mixed with a light green tea and pomelo aroma. It's fresh and delicate, with a long-lasting tea flavor in the aftertaste. Banana Split: The base spirit is rum, with a subtle banana flavor and a noticeable syrupy texture. 🍸Coconut & Fig Negroni: The base spirit is gin, with a coconut aroma, served with a small piece of fresh fig. It has a strong alcoholic taste and a slight bitterness.
