Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California, USA丨Marin Headland Hiking
This time I set off from Fort Baker and headed under the Golden Gate Bridge. Today the weather is cool, sunny and a gentle breeze is blowing. This trail connects to the SCA trail to the Slackers Ridge trail. I've walked many of these trails before on different hikes, but this is one of my favorites. Marin Headlands is a natural wonder in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, USA. This region is rich in flora and fauna and unrivalled landscapes that attract countless outdoor enthusiasts. My plan this time was to go around in a circle, so I turned left at the top of the SCA trail to Slackers and then up to the Julian Trail. Most of the paths are empty. It was only when I got close to the photo spot of any of the bridges that I really encountered the others. Follow the Julian Trail, past the old rifle range, then turn left again on the Upper Fishermans Trail to the coastal Costa Tral. Flowers bloom along the Julian Trail and the breeze becomes stronger. I went to the Presidio Equestrian Club stables for a short break before heading to the visitor center of the old church. I had a hurried lunch there under a large eucalyptus tree. After a while, I was back on the lagoon walk. Pass the Rodeo Lagoon and connect to the Miwok Trail. The trail leads me back to the Lynx Trail, back to the top of the valley, which is about 1.9 miles long. There are more hikers and cyclists at the top of the mountain. Then I connected the Alta Trail back to the SCA Trail. I'm almost done with the loop, but I want to climb a mountain, Engagement Mountain. I had to do this task alone, but it was worth it. From the top of Engagement Hill, you can enjoy stunning views of the city, bridges, and bays. The wind did blow now. The wind was too strong, and the Golden Gate Bridge was "singing". I don't know if you know that when the wind blows just right, there is a sound of the wind blowing across the bridge Located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin Headlands is a 12,000-acre wild nature reserve. The landscape is varied, from expansive beaches to alpine meadows to mountains and lakes. Highlights such as the Golden Gate Bridge and the panoramic views of downtown San Francisco are unforgettable# Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco
