🎸 Granada Travel Guide: Eat, Stay, Transport & Play

Here’s the itinerary: 📎 14th: Arrive in Granada in the morning → Visit the Alhambra in the afternoon → San Nicolás Viewpoint at night. 📎 15th: Monastery of San Jerónimo in the morning → Alcaicería Market → Royal Chapel → Return to Madrid in the afternoon. (Word limit reached, so eat/stay/transport tips are in the comments! Below are the attraction highlights~) Play ⛰️: 📍 Alhambra Palace: A MUST-visit in Granada! (We planned everything else last minute, lol.) Book tickets early! We bought ours 3 weeks in advance, and slots were already limited! Audio guide (with text version): https://audioguia.alhambra-patronato.es/home Pro tip: If you have a youth ticket, exchange it for a paper ticket at the counter first—otherwise, you’ll have to walk all the way back! 😢 Follow the route inside—the palace is breathtakingly beautiful 😍. More aligned with Eastern aesthetics than Madrid’s Royal Palace, with stunning gardens, water channels, and fountains everywhere. Best photo spot: Generalife Gardens! 🍊 Orange trees, fountains, distant snow-capped mountains 🏔️, and the castle—magical at sunset with birds flying overhead. 📍 San Nicolás Viewpoint: Offers a panoramic view of the Alhambra. Even prettier at night when lit up! 🏰✨ Take a bus from the Alhambra exit. Chill vibes with live guitar music 🎸—but dress warm, it’s freezing up there! 📍 Monastery of San Jerónimo (Real Monasterio de San Jerónimo): Highly recommend! Student ticket: €4.5. The main chapel is jaw-droppingly ornate, and the monastery’s orange trees add to the charm. 📍 Alcaicería Market: A narrow Arab-style bazaar selling souvenirs. Cheaper fridge magnets here (€1.5-2.5) vs. tourist shops (€2.5-3.5). 📍 Royal Chapel (Capilla Real de Granada): Closed during Sunday Mass (13:00), but we lucked out with an impromptu flamenco street performance! 💃🎶 Performers may ask for tips, so keep some change ready. ✨ All these spots are within walking distance! Strolling through Granada’s warm-hued streets is delightful—especially during Christmas with festive markets, decorations, and even parades. 🎄🎶 #SpainTravel #Granada #Alhambra #GranadaTravel
