Great Food, But Service Could Be Better 🍽️😐

Overall, the food here was truly excellent and made a strong impression. We tried the gator nuggets, crab soup, chicken salad, shrimp sandwich, and blackened mahi-mahi tacos—each dish was delicious and full of flavor. The fried green tomatoes, in particular, were an absolute must-try that we’d order again in a heartbeat! 🐊🍅🦀 That said, the service felt noticeably average. The restaurant was very busy, especially during the lunch rush, and while we understand that can slow things down, we didn’t feel that fully explained the impersonal attention we received—especially since an automatic gratuity was already included on the bill. 😕🧾 Given the restaurant’s rich history and reputation, we still enjoyed our meal and left satisfied with the culinary experience. But there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to making guests feel genuinely cared for.
