Muse is just a short walk from King Street and absolutely buzzing with energy! 🏙️ I visited for a conference and decided to treat myself to a proper dining experience. Despite arriving about 15 minutes early for my reservation, the hostess graciously seated me promptly at a lovely window table upstairs. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet warm, with soft lighting and a vibrant crowd. The hostess informed me that Ian and Gabby would be taking care of me, and Ian welcomed me with genuine warmth and efficiency. 📝 The menu, though concise (thankfully!), offered a thoughtful selection from pasta to fish and steak. I started with a generously poured martini – so full that Ian had to navigate carefully to avoid spills! 🍸 He also brought fresh bread served with olive oil and vinegar for dipping – a simple but perfect beginning. I ordered the Milanese grouper, which arrived promptly – fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! 🐟 The fish was tender, coated in flavorful breadcrumbs, and fried to golden perfection. It was served with perfectly cooked rice, a delicate white butter caper sauce, and a refreshing arugula salad. I paired it with a French Sancerre that complemented the dish beautifully. 🥂 While not the cheapest meal I’ve ever had, it was certainly one of the most memorable – worth every penny for the quality and experience. Ian and Gabby were both efficient and genuinely attentive throughout.
