Great Location & Traditional Korean Food

Nestled right in the heart of Koreatown, this spot could not be more conveniently located. Surrounded by endless shops, bakeries, malls, BBQ joints, and more, it’s a vibrant area full of life and flavor. The restaurant itself is on the second floor, offering nice city views—a relaxing setting perfect for people-watching while you dine. Inside, you’ll find standard Korean restaurant decor, and everything is kept quite clean and tidy. 👌🧹 The menu focuses on traditional Korean dishes, not fusion—so expect authentic, home-style flavors. What we loved: Grilled Galbi 🥩 – Tender, well-marinated, and cooked just right. Kimchi Pork Tofu Stew 🌶️🍲 – Spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying. Soft Tofu Soup – Comforting and flavorful. Fresh Steamed Rice 🍚 – Simple, but perfectly done. What missed the mark: Steamed Mandu (Dumplings) 🥟 – Sadly underwhelming. The filling was bland, and they were overcooked—so soft they fell apart when picked up. We also had a service hiccup: I ordered hot sake, but it was forgotten until my husband had to remind three staff members upstairs who were gathered around a computer for quite some time. No one came to check on customers during that period. Service was okay but definitely needs improvement. That said, the value is solid—prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.😘😘 I’d still recommend giving this place a try—just order wisely and maybe be prepared to flag down your server if needed. #KoreatownEats #TraditionalKorean #GalbiLove #ServiceImprovementNeeded
