Great Photo Spot in Pittsburgh: Duquesne Incline

🚠The Duquesne Incline is a red scenic funicular located across the river, with an upper station and a lower station. You can board at either location and choose to ride one-way or round-trip. 🚠The ticket price is $2.5 for a one-way trip ($5 for a round trip). Tickets cannot be purchased at the upper station; they must be bought from an elderly gentleman at the lower station. If you are a local student in Pittsburgh (such as from CMU), you can ride for free. Simply swipe your card at a card machine at the lower station. Note that if you are using a round-trip ticket, you will need to swipe your card twice, with at least a 5-minute interval between the two swipes. [Recommended Route] 🚠Based on personal experience, it is recommended to ride "from the top down" (highlight this!) because it's easier to park up there! 🚠However, if you ride from the top down, after your first descent, you will need to swipe your card twice. The first swipe covers the "top-down" fare, and after waiting for five minutes, the second swipe covers the "down-top" fare. Don't waste these 5 minutes; at the lower station, there is a small door that leads out to an overpass, which is an excellent spot for taking photos. #Pittsburgh #Pittsburgh #USATravel #NewYorkAround #PittsburghFood #PittsburghShopExploration #PittsburghTravel
