While traveling in Nashville, a local friend insisted on taking us to this classic restaurant, The Loveless Cafe. We arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday, and the host informed us that the wait would be about 45 minutes—but the buttery biscuit aroma filling the waiting area made the time pass easily.💗 Once seated, our server brought a basket of warm biscuits with three kinds of homemade jam. The peach jam had real fruit pieces, and the blackberry jam struck a perfect sweet-tart balance.🔅 💟 My husband’s fried chicken was crispy without being greasy, and my smoked pork chop, glazed with peach sauce, offered a savory-sweet blend. The staff were very friendly and provided attentive service.
