Today, I want to share a hidden gem in Chelsea for anyone in New York working in art, design, fashion, or architecture—a treasure trove bookstore called Printed Matter Inc. 🍃🌺 It's a non-profit bookstore and also the largest independent publisher bookstore in New York, focusing solely on artist books. 🎨They have many booklets directly collaborated with artists. I think it's a great platform for artists to gain exposure and communicate with the outside world. The address is 231 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001. The store closes at 6 pm. 🍃🌺 It's a two-story little bookshop where you can spend about an hour browsing. Many books may only have one or two copies, so you need to dig deep. 🎨When I was studying at Parsons, my professor recommended this place to us.
