Great Value Paris Trendy Restaurant

📍 Paris This is one of those Parisian French restaurants that pops up on every search. Online reviews claim it’s a spot loved by locals, but I’m neither a French food expert nor obsessed with it, so here’s my personal review. We had a reservation, but it seems like walk-ins might work too, so don’t stress too much! If you're nearby, maybe try your luck. The restaurant was super busy, though I noticed most customers seemed like tourists. The table next to me was a group of Germans, and the area itself is pretty touristy, so I doubt many locals actually dine here 😂. That said, even though they were really busy, the service was friendly. What We Ordered ❀ Onion Soup So tasty! The broth had a sweet flavor, and they topped it with baked cheese. Dunking the complimentary baguette in the soup was such a cozy thing to do on a chilly day. I highly recommend ordering this. ❀ Escargot I don’t eat snails, but my friend said they were pretty good! 🐌 ❀ Duck Confit A classic dish with crispy skin and tender meat, but wow, was it salty! So salty that I had to chug my drink. Not sure why, maybe they just really love salt there. Give it a try for the experience, though! Not sure if it’s supposed to be this salty, but everything else was pretty solid. ❀ Steak I don’t think I ordered well-done, probably medium or medium-rare, can’t remember exactly. But what I got was definitely overcooked. Might have to teach the chef how to grill a steak 😁. #ParisRestaurant #FrenchCuisine #Paris #FoodieReviews
