Grilled Lobster and Sea Urchin Rice is Super Satisfying
Heard that Wangbi changed their menu, so I came back to try it out~The new tasting menu focuses on grilled dishes, and it's very cost-effective! For $139, I was extremely full, especially with the Korean-style grilled beef ribs, which were really exceptional 👏 ❤️The appetizer was a refreshing grapefruit and blood orange lettuce salad, which was much needed before the grilled meat. There was also a very delicate beef and lobster Tartara, with raw beef paired with pear slices and crispy toast, which had a rich texture~ ❤️The grilled part consisted of three main dishes: chuck flap tail, sliced short rib, and flat iron steak. Each was quite good, but I liked the flat iron steak marinated in soy sauce the best, the texture was 💯 ❤️The happiest part for meat lovers arrived! Korean-style grilled beef ribs ➕ sea urchin mushroom rice ➕ grilled lobster tail! I was really impressed by the grilled short ribs, it can be considered the top 1️⃣ I've had in New York in the past two years! The sea urchin rice was as excellent as always, the Hokkaido sea urchin was very sweet, and it paired perfectly with the mushroom risotto~The additional butter-roasted lobster tail was also great #GoodTasteInSmallTowns #NewYorkFood #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #ManhattanFoodNYC #NewYorkKoreanFood #NewYorkBBQ #KoreanBBQInNewYork
