Guatemala Bus Land Border Entry to El Salvador 🚌

Starting from Guatemala City 🇬🇹, heading to Santa Ana, El Salvador 🇸🇻, I was initially reluctant to go through the hassle and wanted to take the King Quality bus for a direct border crossing, which would have been more convenient. However, the ticket seller insisted that I didn't have a visa and wouldn't accept that I could get one at the border, so they wouldn't let me on the bus. Thus, I had no choice but to take public transportation. 【🚌 Route】 Departing from Guatemala City, take a bus to 📍 Google Maps search for “Pollo Campero La Terminal” and right next to it, there are buses to the border town of San Cristobal, costing 70Q, departing whenever they are ready. After arriving at the border town of San Cristobal, you can simply walk across the border. There are local men at the 🇬🇹 border who can exchange money, which is very convenient. After crossing the border, you can continue to take a bus to Santa Anna (for $0.75) or to the capital. 【🛃 Customs】 It's likely that Chinese passports are a rare sight, so it took a bit of time. I paid 💰 $12, and the staff verified whether I had a valid 🇨🇦/🇺🇸/🇪🇺 visa, and then granted me 180 days. The service was very friendly, and the procedures were quite formal. They also didn't charge my child, so it felt like I saved a fortune. #Guatemala #ElSalvador #SalvadorVisa #SalvadorTouristVisa #guatemala #Salvador
