🎨 Guggenheim in NYC|A Building That’s a Work of Art 👨🏻🎨
Guggenheim is a museum next to Central Park that’s a masterpiece in itself. Pro tip: Start at the top and work your way down while enjoying the exhibits. 🌀👣 ⭐️ Central Glass Skylight: The circular skylight lets natural light pour in, but sadly, it was cloudy on my visit, so I missed the sunlit magic. ☁️🌤️ ⭐️ No Traditional Floors: Unlike typical museums with separate rooms, all exhibits here are displayed along the spiral ramp’s walls or in standalone spaces. 🖼️🌀 🎨 Exhibits Feature Diverse Art Styles: 👨🏻🎨 Impressionism & Modern Art: Monet, Picasso collections 👨🏻🎨 Geometric & Abstract Art: Kandinsky, Delaunay 👨🏻🎨 Futurism & Cubism: Gino Severini 💭 Personal Thoughts|Is It Worth It? ✔ The Architecture is a Must-See! If you’re into architecture, it’s worth a visit (it’s literally textbook-worthy). The spiral design feels futuristic, and exploring the space along the winding path is pretty fun! 🚀🌀 ❌ As an Art Museum: Personally, I found the layout a bit confusing. While the spiral ramp is iconic, navigating the exhibits felt a bit disorienting, and some displays were hard to follow. 🤔🌀 ✅ Recommend visiting once to experience the architectural marvel, but if you’re purely here for the art, MoMA and the MET might be more satisfying! 🖼️🏛️ 📸 Sony RX100 + iPhone 14 Pro Max #ContemporaryArt #ArchitecturalArt #ArtMuseum #ExhibitionVibes #NewYorkCity #Guggenheim #NYCTravel #ExhibitionArchitecture #NYCLife #NYCMuseums
