Gullah Tour with Alphonso Brown 🚗

We recently joined the Gullah tour led by Alphonso Brown, and it was quite an experience! Known as a master of Gullah culture, Mr. Brown is both humorous and knowledgeable, keeping us engaged throughout the ride. 😄 The tour was entirely conducted by car, with no stops for photos or closer exploration. While this allowed us to cover more ground, we missed the chance to truly immerse ourselves in the surroundings. 📸❌ We learned a lot about the unique Gullah vocabulary and grammar—it felt like a fascinating linguistics lesson on wheels! 🗣️ However, I personally wished for more cultural insights—stories about traditions, crafts, music, or daily life in the historic Gullah communities. 🎵🧺 Alphonso’s storytelling was engaging, but a bit more focus on the people and their heritage would have made it even better. If you’re a language enthusiast, you’ll love this tour!
