Hakone Shrine ⛩️ 🌇 Hakone Shrine was founded in 757 by Manju Shonin on Mount Hakone, a sacred site of mountain worship. It has been revered by many samurai, including Tokugawa Ieyasu, and is a historic shrine. The torii gate over the water is here, so expect lots of people taking photos! 📸 🌇 Narukawa Art Museum 🎨 Located by Lake Ashinoko in Hakone, the Narukawa Art Museum features over 150 representative works by Yamamoto Kyujin, a painter who received the Order of Culture.
