Halloween π Birthday Dinner in SF | Eos & Nyx
Celebrating my birthday on Halloween called for a special spot β so we chose Eos & Nyx, a newly opened Mediterranean restaurant in San Jose. The vibe was stylish and inviting, with just the right lighting β not too dim, totally Instagram-worthy! πΈβ¨ Since it was Halloween, maybe everyone was out trick-or-treating β the restaurant wasnβt too busy, making it the perfect chill and cozy setting for a birthday chat with my girls. We started with a complimentary caviar cone β a delicious and elegant welcome bite! π¦ π Appetizers We closed our eyes and ordered freely β and everything was a hit! The Dip Trio & Pita was a dream β warm pita paired with three amazing dips. Each had its own charm, though my personal favorite was the red pepper one. π π Lamb Chops Juicy, tender, and perfectly seared β these chops were bursting with flavor! Best enjoyed hot. π₯ π Branzino Fresh and delicate β you really canβt go wrong with seafood at a Mediterranean spot. π N.Y. Strip This was a letdown π. Overly smoky and unfortunately tough, with a chewy texture and too much gristle. π Birthday Perks The staff surprised me with a signed birthday card from the whole team! π₯³ They also kindly sliced and served my birthday cake (from Horizon Bakery), with a small cake fee added to the bill β thoughtful and seamless. Overall, aside from the steak mishap, it was a lovely experience β definitely worth a revisit! The service was attentive and polished, almost Michelin-star levelβ¦ are they aiming for one? π Just a heads-up β thereβs a 3% credit card fee, so bring cash if you prefer! Andβ¦ happy birthday to me! ππ #BayAreaEats #BayAreaFoodie #BayAreaLife #SanJose #SouthBayFood #BayBrunch #BayAreaWeekend #WhatToEatInTheBay #SFfood
