Hamilton, Canada🍸| Not a Single Miss—No Exaggeration!

Every time I try to find a place to eat on the weekend, I realize I've passed by so many hidden gems! This place was no exception—I've walked past it multiple times when visiting James St., but never really paid attention. Apparently, their menu recently got a major revamp, and many of the dishes I saw on IG are no longer available. But! Every single thing we ordered this time was a hit! 🎯 🍞 WHIPPED FETA: The little bread rolls they serve can be refilled, though they’re a bit oily. 🫔 FOIE GRAS & PORK JOWL EGGROLL: This is a must-order! It may look like a simple roll, but it’s packed with flavor. Inside, you’ve got foie gras, pork, egg, cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms, all wrapped up and paired with a house-made tangy and spicy sauce that really wakes up your taste buds! 🤤 🐟 HERBED MONKFISH and 🥩 STEAK AU POIVRE: Both dishes had exceptional sauces. The monkfish was served with a lobster sauce, while the steak came with a truffle sauce (and fries included in the meal)! 🍽️ 🦆 MUSCOVY DUCK BREAST: OMG, how could this be so delicious!! The duck looked slightly rare, but the texture was beyond tender! Every bite was so satisfying—even for someone like me, who usually hates 🥕 carrots, I finished them all! The pasta served with the monkfish was pearl pasta, a fun new experience. This dish definitely stole the show—highly, highly recommended! 🤩💯 The ambiance in the restaurant gets a 200 out of 100—seriously, the artwork on the walls was so interesting, and any random shot looked great!
