Hamilton, Canada šŸø | Wrapping up Winter Break with Fusion Cuisine

It feels like I just finished my finals in mid-December, and now I’m already back to work! 😩 To give winter break a proper send-off, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal. Of course, those two hours of indulging in delicious food were super enjoyable. Since it’s a fusion restaurant, the menu already listed every ingredient in the dish with 101% accuracy! Even though there were no photos, there were hardly any misses. 🄩 90 Day Dry-Aged Steak & Bacon, Kimchi Fried Rice We ordered the steak medium, but it felt a bit undercooked. Medium-well would’ve been better! The fried rice was kimchi-flavored but not overly sour. Out of the main dishes, this one was a unanimous favorite! šŸ¦ž Lobster Shumai Although it's $22 for just four small pieces, it was so, so, so delicious! The shumai filling had big chunks of lobster, and the sauce had a rich shrimp oil aroma. These are an absolute must-try!! šŸ£ The Roll of Dundas Roll A pretty big portion but listed as an appetizer—around 8 pieces per serving. šŸš Korean BBQ Bowl It had grilled pork belly + beef tenderloin, but the white rice at the bottom lacked seasoning, so it might be a bit bland for some. šŸ¦† Duck Breast The star of the meal! Although it’s called "duck breast," it also came with foie gras, cinnamon sweet potato puree, duck spring roll, and a small bun! It felt like experiencing 99 ways to eat duck! However, the duck meat was slightly gamey. I wonder if it could’ve been cooked a bit more thoroughly—it was still very tender though. šŸŸ Seoul Poutine This was sweet potato fries + a revamped version of poutine. Make sure to eat it while it’s hot—the fries are super crispy! There’s kimchi, ground beef, and cream cheese inside. Quite a unique combo! The restaurant isn't very big, so make sure to reserve in advance! Even when we went on a weekday, it was packed. From what I've seen on their IG recently, they’re fully booked on weekend evenings. Don’t miss out and make the trip for nothing! name: Namu address 186 King St W, Dundas, ON L9H 1V4 type:restaurant #CanadianCuisine #LifeInCanada #WeekendRestaurantHunt #WhereToGoThisWeekend
