Hamilton Island Ultra-Short Half-Day Trip | Lazy Relaxation Edition
🏝️Honestly, it was less than two hours (not even half a day)! Next time, I’ll definitely stay overnight—this island is pure bliss. Day 1 (Continued) After wrapping up the helicopter ride at noon, we rushed straight to Port of Airlie. 🛥️ Took a ferry to Hamilton Island (note the return times to Airlie: 17:10 and 17:20; the crossing takes about 1h20). Passed by Daydream Island on the way—stunning views, worth every second 👣. 🏝️ First impression upon stepping off the ferry: It’s pricey, but totally worth it. I forgot to bring my driver’s license and copies (had them ready but left them at the hotel), so couldn’t rent a golf cart. ❗️ Wish I could’ve—renting one would’ve made the day 10x more fun! Right after disembarking, we waited for the green shuttle bus nearby (map available on 🍠). 🚍 Took it to Resort Centre, then headed to Catseye Beach to soak up the sun ☀️. Then walked 🚶 to All Saints Chapel ⛪️. Bonus: Spotted a wild kangaroo 🦘—so adorable! My live capture even caught it posing with a crow 🐦. Didn’t make it to One Tree Hill this time—left some regret for next visit. Headed back to Airlie Beach via the port. 🥣 Paradiso Airlie Beach—service was super slow! But the food was decent. 🍕 Pizza was “Chilli Shrimp,” but not spicy at all. 🍝 Pasta was a bit bland. 🍸 For drinks, I ordered a watermelon cocktail—refreshing! #WhatToWearOnVacation #MustVisitTheBeach #Vacation #MidSemesterBreak #AustralianTravel #Whitsundays #HamiltonIsland #HalfDayTrip #Travel #HealingSea
