Hidden Gem French Cuisine | L’Atypic in the 15th Arrondissement 🌸✨
After shopping in the Beaugrenelle area near the Eiffel Tower, I discovered this treasure of a French restaurant, L’Atypic! I have three reasons to recommend this place: First, the ingredients are top-notch (the chef is generous with the truffles!); second, all dishes are meticulously homemade by the chef; and third, the owner’s expertise in wine pairings really hits the spot! 😊🍷 Appetizers Provencal Snails: This was my first time trying snails sautéed in olive oil. After so many traditional baked versions, I found that the sautéing really preserved the original flavors of the ingredients! 🐌🌿 Homemade Duck Foie Gras: The chef’s own homemade foie gras was a feast for the taste buds! 😋 Main Courses Signature: Turnedos Rossini (Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras): Pan-seared foie gras is my favorite French dish; it’s so silky and delicate! Paired with the tender, juicy filet mignon, it’s like the Hermès of gourmet food—pure luxury! Each bite is filled with truffle aroma and rich Madeira wine flavor. ❤️🥩 Secret Veal Thymus: Accompanied by a white port reduction with mushroom bits, it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, gradually unfolding layers of flavor with every bite. So delicious! 😍🍄 Desserts Cheesecake: My absolute favorite! There’s no competition! Their cheesecake is neither too sweet nor too heavy. Topped with homemade pistachio crumbs and paired with a smooth, delicate cheesecake, the happiness factor is off the charts! And cutting into the cheesecake reveals a little surprise inside! 🎂💚 Crème Brûlée: Rich in creaminess with authentic vanilla flavor, and you can even see the tiny vanilla specks! 🍮✨ #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem #FoodDiary #GlobalFoodies #ParisRestaurants
