Hidden Seafood Paradise in Paris 🦞

📍 Address: Restaurant Lao Bai Wei 89 Rue de l'Ourcq, 75019 Paris 💰 Average Cost per Person: €40–50 🌟 I’ve visited the original location a few times before, and this was my first time at the new address! My friends have been raving about the improvements, and they’re right! The place is incredibly popular, and it’s clear why. The new location is much more spacious and bright, and the food quality remains top-notch. They even have private rooms (with a minimum spend of €300), perfect for larger groups. The owner’s service is as excellent as ever!🏆 One of the highlights here is the fresh seafood display. You can choose your seafood directly from the counter, seeing the day’s fresh catch. This time, we had big tiger prawns (some with roe) and large yellow croakers. The croakers were incredibly fresh and tender. There were also hairy crabs, which looked plump and delicious (though we didn’t order them this time). 🍽️ Dish Recommendations (for a group of 9): 🌾Steamed Seafood: The yellow croaker is a high-end ingredient in France, even rarer than lobster! Seeing such a large one was a treat. The fish is so tender that it falls apart with just a touch of your chopsticks. The seasoning is perfect. The daily catch varies, and many of these seafood options aren’t available at other Chinese restaurants in Paris. If you see something fresh and the price is reasonable, go for it! The fish was so fresh and delicious. Other Seafood Dishes: The cold shrimp salad, spicy stir-fried snails, and stir-fried shells were all amazing. You can order based on your personal preferences! Tofu and Shellfish Soup: This soup was incredibly fresh and light. It’s been a long time since I tasted such a refreshing and flavorful broth. Only the freshest shellfish can produce such a sweet and savory soup. As someone from a coastal area, this soup truly brought back the taste of home. If it weren’t so far, I’d come here every day!😭 #ParisianFood #food #ParisLife #Paris #Seafood #ParisRestaurant
