High-Quality Korean Food in Union Square π
π BARN JOO I just discovered this Korean restaurant, and Iβm kicking myself for not visiting sooner! Itβs so close to my school, and the value here is incredible. π ποΈ The quality and portion sizes are way above what youβd expect for the price. I ordered the lunch set ($29), which included options like army stew, pork rib soup, sashimi rice, and sea urchin rice (seafood options have a small upcharge, but itβs definitely worth it). πΈ I went with the sashimi rice, and the fish was incredibly fresh with perfect seasoning! The combination of caviar, crunchy vegetables, and tender sashimi was amazing. π In addition to the main dish, the set also included a salad, a big potato pancake, fried shrimp tempura, and a small portion of sushi. Everything you see in the photo, except for the drink, is part of this lunch set for just over $30! Itβs called a single serving, but the portions are really generous. You can even take home the side dishes for another meal later. π π’ The restaurant itself is beautiful. The entrance is small, but the high ceilings make the space feel really open. It feels like a hidden gem. I went at 3 PM, and there were no crowds or lines, and the service was attentive. The staff even recommended their best dishes and drinks. π«°π» πAddress: 35 Union Square W, New York, NY 10003 #StudentExploration #KoreanFood #NYU π
