Hiking Guide from Nice to Antibes 🌊🥾
Antibes is absolutely stunning! If you could only visit one town in the South of France, I’d choose this place without hesitation. The views along the way are breathtaking, especially on a sunny day—absolutely unbeatable! If you're planning a hiking trip to Antibes soon, here’s a detailed guide from Nice: 🚆 Departure: Nice Ville Train Station Check the departure board for trains heading toward Grasse. Tap your card to enter and follow the signs to the correct platform. 🚉 Arrival in Antibes: Getting to the Trailhead You have two options: Taxi (Bolt): ~10-minute ride, quick and convenient. Bus Line 2 (Note: Not listed on Google Maps!): After exiting the station, go up one level and cross the footbridge to the opposite bus stop. Take Line 2 and get off at Fontaine Station. Buses run every 30-60 mins—check schedules on the stop sign or the Envibus app. 🥾 Recommended Hiking Route (Starting from Fontaine Station) The trail begins right at the bus stop (or navigate to Plage de la Garoupe). You’ll soon reach a fork in the path. Take the red route (more scenic with coastal and cultural views, plus a smoother flow). The green route is partially closed, requiring detours. Follow the main trail—signs are clear throughout. Easy difficulty, perfect for beginners. The full loop takes ~2 hours at a relaxed pace (with photo stops!). 🚌 Return Trip The hike circles back to Fontaine Station. Take Bus Line 2 back to Antibes train station. Check return train times and platforms (some require passing through an underground tunnel). No card tap needed to enter Antibes station, but conductors check tickets on board. ✅ Tips Wear proper shoes (sneakers/hiking boots—no flip-flops!). Bring water or buy some at a supermarket near the trailhead. Pack a swimsuit & towel if you want to swim! Locals love cliff-jumping, sunbathing, and swimming along the route—super chill vibe! #Antibes #AntibesHiking #SouthOfFrance #FrenchRiviera #DayTripFromParis #CoastalHikes #ScenicTrails #HikingAdventures 🌞👣
