Himalayan Dorjee Restaurant

Himalayan Dorjee Restaurant is such a total gem, you guys! It’s literally right next to the bus stop I always use—like, step off the bus, turn left, and boom, there it is 🚌📍 So convenient, it’s basically become my go-to post-bus-stop pit stop. Tibetan food is everywhere in Nepal, which is awesome, but this place? It still manages to stand out from the crowd. I went for their noodle soup, and oh my goodness, it was so delicious! The noodles were perfectly chewy, not too soft, not too hard—just right—and the broth? Warm, hearty, with this subtle depth of flavor that makes you want to slurp it all up 🍜😋 Like, comfort in a bowl, seriously. Okay, slight confession time: it was a little on the salty side. Not, like, "spit it out" salty, but enough that I definitely needed an extra glass of water afterward 😅 But hey, better salty than bland, right? It just means they’re not shy with the seasoning—bold moves, I respect it. The real MVP here, though? Their chili oil! I grabbed the little bottle, drizzled a little (okay, maybe a lot) into my soup, and WHOA. It was life-changing. Fragrant, with this amazing aroma that hits you as soon as you open the bottle, and the heat? Perfect—enough to tingle your taste buds without burning them off 🌶️🔥 It took the whole soup to a whole new level, I’m telling you. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by. That chili oil alone is worth the trip—you won’t regret it! And hey, maybe ask for a tiny bit less salt if you’re sensitive, but either way, it’s a must-try 😊 #Pokhara
