Houston | Hillside Bistro🇮🇹
This is a name I came up with myself, haha😅. Located in Montrose, Vinoteca Poscol🍷 is an Italian bistro founded by Chef Marco Wiles. "Vinoteca" means wine bar, and "Poscol" is the name of the street where the chef grew up, which translates to "behind the mountain." That's why I call it Hillside Bistro😃. I had heard about this place from an Italian friend a while ago, and I can say the experience truly lives up to the hype👍. The dining atmosphere is super cozy, the servers are incredibly gentle, and the food arrives at a decent pace. It's the perfect spot for a get-together with friends, where you can chat, laugh, and enjoy a glass of wine. 🥂 I'm a big fan of their special creamy pasta🍝 and osso buco Beef Short Rib🥩. The pizza🍕 is also super authentic! There aren't many great Italian places in Houston, but this one definitely makes it onto my top list👍. The only downside is the limited parking, but there's a large garage in the nearby shopping area, just a short walk away.🚶♂️ 📍 608 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006 #food #HoustonEats #Houston #HoustonFoodie #MyFoodTreasures #ItalianCuisine #HiddenGems #LocalFavorites
