🍝 How Did I Not Know About This Place
A few days ago, we walked past this restaurant and were shocked we’d never noticed it before — especially since it’s been open for years! Just four blocks from our apartment, and the food is absolutely extraordinary! 🚶♂️✨ The interior is intimate and cozy, with a vibe that feels more like an upscale café or sandwich spot — but the food? Absolute perfection. 🧡 We started by sharing the Tartare Di Tonno — made with bluefin tuna, mango, Spanish gazpacho, basil sauce, and extra virgin olive oil. It was beautifully plated and tasted even better than it looked! 🐟🥭🍅 For our mains: I had the Lasagna (homemade pasta, slow-cooked veal ragù, béchamel, and Parmigiano cream) 🍲 My wife ordered the Cacio E Pepe (Pecorino Romano, freshly ground black pepper, and 24-month-aged Parmigiano) 🧀✨ Both dishes were rich, flavorful, and plated just right — a true testament to authentic Italian craftsmanship. We ended this incredible meal by sharing the Torta Della Nonna — a delicate shortcrust pastry filled with vanilla cream and pine nuts. A sweet, elegant finish to a memorable dinner! 🍰🌰 I highly recommend Da Adriano! In fact, I’d confidently say it’s the best Italian restaurant I’ve tried on the Upper East Side. 🙌 #DaAdriano #UESeats #ItalianFineDining #HiddenGemNYC #UpperEastSide #PastaLover
