How Much Does It Cost to Eat at a 24-Hour Restaurant in Paris?

Today, I visited Au Pied de Cochon in Paris, a historic restaurant that has been open since 1947 and operates 24 hours a day, even through the night. 📍 Address: 6 rue Coquillière, 75001 Paris 🍲 I tried French onion soup for the first time. The bread and melted cheese in the soup, once soaked up, had a texture similar to "fried dough sticks soaked in tofu pudding," a popular Chinese breakfast combination! 🐖 For the main course, I ordered the "pork knuckle." It was a bit salty, and I actually prefer the taste of braised pork trotters in Longjiang-style rice. Does anyone know where I can find pork trotter rice in Paris? 🍷 I paired my meal with a glass of red wine and enjoyed it on the sunny terrace. Although the food wasn't particularly impressive, sitting in the sun and people-watching was quite comfortable. 🧾 Total Cost: 37 euros After the meal, I visited a Lebanese ice cream shop called Glace Bachir, located near the Pompidou Center. It’s famous for its Lebanese-style ice cream. There was a long queue, but it moved quickly. Thoughtfully, the staff offered samples of their signature pistachio flavor while waiting in line. 🍦 It seemed like everyone on the Pompidou plaza had a pistachio ice cream in hand! #ParisIceCream #ParisianRestaurant #ParisianExploration
