How to Explore Toowoomba?📍
🏨 Potters Hotel is located in a fairly central area, making it convenient to get anywhere. It’s also one of the more well-known hotels in this area! 🏙️✨ 🏞️ In the afternoon, we visited Picnic Point Lookout, one of Toowoomba’s scenic viewpoints. Since it’s a bit far from the city center, there’s no direct public transport available. 🚖 Several hiking trails are offered here, so you can choose one based on your preference and fitness level! 🥾🌿 ⛩️ Next, we took a taxi 🚖 to the Japanese Garden, located within the UniSQ campus. It features traditional Japanese-style landscapes and is a great spot to watch the little ducks. 🦆🎋 🌠 Dinner was at the restaurant downstairs in the hotel 🍴, but keep in mind it might not be open on weekends! ⚠️ 🏨 The hotel checkout time is 10 AM, but you can store your luggage 🧳 there if needed. 🕙 ☕️ We went out and randomly picked a brunch spot—sometimes the best finds are unplanned! 🍳☕ 🏞️ After breakfast, we headed to the famous Queens Park. The park is huge, and many locals bring their families here for picnics. If you walk through the park, you’ll find a market. Since we went on a Saturday, it was the Farmer’s Market, where local farmers sell fresh produce, fruits, and handmade crafts. 🍓🧺 🏛️ Just past the market, you’ll come across the Cobb+CO Museum. It’s relatively small, and some exhibition areas were closed when we visited—but hey, since we were already there, we figured we’d take a quick look before leaving! 🚜🏺 Extra Tips for Your Trip: Best Time to Visit Picnic Point: Late afternoon for golden-hour views! 🌅 Japanese Garden Highlights: The koi pond and cherry blossoms (if visiting in spring). 🎏🌸 Queens Park Must-Do: Relax under the giant fig trees. 🌳💤 Market Finds: Try local honey or handmade jams. 🍯🍞 #Australia #Toowoomba#ToowoombaTravel #WeekendGetaway #ScenicViews #FarmersMarket #TravelTips 🌏📸
