This restaurant delivered both a lovely atmosphere and delicious food! 🌟 The hush puppies were absolutely incredible - golden brown, perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining light and fluffy inside. Each bite was a perfect balance of texture and flavor, making them possibly the best we've ever tasted! The fresh fish of the day was sheepshead, prepared to absolute perfection! 🐟 The cooking technique showcased the fish's delicate flavor and flaky texture beautifully. I really enjoyed the accompanying vegetables which were fresh, seasoned well, and cooked to retain their natural crunch. While I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the rice preparation, others at our table seemed to genuinely enjoy it! The shrimp and grits offered a unique twist compared to what my fiancé typically prepares. 🍤 He noted the differences in seasoning and presentation but confirmed they were wonderfully executed - creamy, flavorful, and comforting in every way. It's always interesting to see how different chefs interpret this classic dish! We ordered the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert, and it was absolutely addictive! 😍 The texture was sublime - moist yet structured, with pockets of melted white chocolate throughout. The sauce complemented without overwhelming, creating what might be one of the best bread puddings I've ever experienced.
