Hyatt Centric Midtown 5th Avenue Experience

This time I checked in during the off-season, and the overall price was pretty reasonable. Including taxes and the resort fee, it came to just over $180. 🎢🌟 I'm a Hyatt Explorist, so I casually asked if they could upgrade my room. The front desk said yes, but I wasn't quite sure what type of room I got upgraded to... When I went in, the room was small and had no view at all, but it was clean and tidy, and it was enough for one night. 🏨 🎢🌟 There was a little hiccup: the air conditioning in the room would turn off automatically. I called the front desk, and they were super nice. They immediately sent an engineer over, but he only spoke Spanish. We managed to communicate a bit, and after he checked it, he left. But guess what? It broke again that night. 😔 🎢🌟 Later, the front desk helped me out once more, proactively moved me to another room, and even gave me 2000 points as compensation. Their attitude was really great. Although there was some trouble in between, the overall service was okay. At least the problems were solved in a timely manner. 🌟 🎢🌟 #hyatt #globetrotterchallenge #hotelreview #newyork
