I’m in Love with Charming Idaho ❤️
For the Memorial Day long weekend, I spontaneously booked the cheapest direct flight from Vegas and ended up in Boise, the capital of Idaho. I didn’t have high expectations at first, but this place completely won me over with its simplicity, cleanliness, and peaceful vibe. 🏙️🍃 Not a single homeless person in sight — the city felt fresh and well-kept. The Albertsons headquarters supermarket totally changed my impression of grocery stores. I loved the graffiti art and Basque cultural touches everywhere. 🛒🎨 As two Asian faces in a predominantly white crowd, we did feel a bit out of place — but then something incredible happened. During lunch, a mother and daughter at the next table were chatting about how expensive the menu was… yet without saying a word to us, they quietly paid our bill. 😲💖 I was so moved I almost couldn’t speak. The mom told me she loves to travel too — sometimes people are kind, sometimes not so much — and she just wanted us to have a great experience in Idaho. ❤️ Everyone we met along the way was warm and friendly. The landscapes were incredibly diverse and beautiful too. We did the full loop: Boise → Twin Falls → Craters of the Moon → Stanley (Sawtooth Mountains) → back to Boise. Each place had its own unique beauty — I’ll be sharing more about each spot soon! 🏔️🌋🛣️ Idaho is truly an underrated gem. 💎 #Boise #Idaho #AmericanLife #StudyInTheUS #Art #TravelUSA #HiddenGems ✨
