I Declare Pattaya the Best City to Visit in Thailand! 🌆
Transportation 🚌 – From Bangkok, take a 2-hour bus to Pattaya. Once there, the most convenient way to get around is by renting a motorcycle 🏍️—no license needed, just a deposit! Accommodation 🏨 – Book online via Taobao, Meituan, Ctrip, or Qunar—all work fine. Food 🍽️ – Tried several "must-visit" restaurants, but honestly, all were disappointing—overpriced, mediocre taste, and they automatically add 7-10% service charge despite slow service. Best eats? Night markets or mall food courts—better value & no hidden fees! Activities 🏝️ – Head straight to Pattaya Pier ⛵️, where speedboats (with Chinese-speaking staff) take you to nearby islands. Bargain for a good price! Once on the island (like Koh Larn), rent a scooter 🏍️ and explore—no need to stay overnight, just do a day trip. Multiple rental shops compete, so compare prices & haggle! There’s even a 7-11 on the island—best for snacks/drinks, but expect long checkout lines. ⚠️ Pattaya Scam Alert! We went to a "famous sunset restaurant" (cost: 2000+ THB), but the food was stale, swarmed by flies 🪰, and my husband got food poisoning that night! Since it’s a spot, you must reserve online, but honestly? Only the sunset view 🌄 was worth it—it’s all outdoor seating (super hot!), and the ingredients were clearly not fresh. Never again! Final Verdict: Pattaya offers affordable prices, stunning views, and a relaxed island vibe 🏝️. With lots of expats & foreigners, it’s way more fun & laid-back than Bangkok! #IslandGetaway #VacationMode #TravelAbroad #PattayaTravel #PattayaGuide #IslandHopping #KohLarnGuide #KohLarnDayTrip #ThailandTravelTips
