I Finally Went on a Solo Trip to NYC—It Was AMAZING! ✨

New York is perfect for solo female travel! 🚇 The public transport is super convenient, and it feels relatively safe—I stayed out until almost 10 PM every night taking the subway back to my accommodation. Of course, always stay aware of your surroundings! If your place isn’t close to a subway station, it’s safer to Uber at night. Day 1: Statue of Liberty & Downtown Adventure 🗽 I booked my Pedestal Reserve ticket ($25.80) on Statue City Cruises a week in advance (sells out fast!). This lets you climb up to the statue’s base for epic Manhattan skyline views. If you plan way ahead (like a month+), 😀you can snag a Crown Reserve ticket ($25.80) to climb all the way to the crown! 🏆 No luck for me, but even the General Admission ($25.50) is worth it—just exploring the island is fantastic.👍 🚢 Pro Tip: All tickets include round-trip ferry rides. Spend 2-3 hours here, and if you have time, hop off at Ellis Island on the way back to check out the Immigration Museum—super fascinating history!🎉 After the ferry, I explored Downtown NYC on foot: Wall Street 💼 Charging Bull 🐂 (gotta rub that lucky butt!) Trinity Church ⛪️ Oculus Plaza ✨ 9/11 Memorial Pools 💧 Ended the day with a delicious dinner in Chinatown 🥢—perfect first day! Day 2: The Met All Day! 🖼️ I spent the entire day at The Metropolitan Museum of Art—it’s HUGE and absolutely stunning. Check closing times—I went on a Saturday (open till 9 PM!) and still didn’t see everything. Day 3: Central Park & Shopping Spree 🚴‍♀️🛍️ Morning: Rented a bike via Lyft (🚨 Pro tip: Get an E-BIKE! I accidentally got a regular one and struggled uphill in Central Park 😅). Afternoon: Explored 5th Ave—checked out the LV Giant Box and Trump Tower, then headed to SoHo for some serious shopping (so many cute stores!). Evening: Another tasty Chinatown dinner 🍜. Optional Night Activity: City skyline views (Top of the Rock / The Edge) 🌃 DUMBO for that iconic Manhattan Bridge photo spot 📸 + a relaxing walk along Brooklyn Bridge. Final Thoughts NYC is incredible for solo travel—so much to see, eat, and experience! Can’t wait to go back. ❤️ #NewYork #NYCLife #SoloTravel #CityWalk #NewYorkCity #TravelDiaries #Wanderlust #ExploreNYC #TravelGram 🌎🗽✨
