🍽 CASA DE CHÁ DA BOA NOVA ⭐️⭐️ 📍 Located just a 30-minute drive from Porto, perched by the sea 🏠 Once the famous Boa Nova Tea House (designed by architect Álvaro Siza in 1963), now transformed into a Michelin two-star restaurant This 21-course tasting menu (over 4+ hours!) isn’t just a meal—it’s a Portuguese maritime journey. Every dish ties into (voyage) theme, with tableware shaped like 🐟 fish, 🛶 boats, and 🦀 crabs. Before each course, you’re shown a comic strip explaining Portugal’s culinary history, followed by live cooking at your table—immersive doesn’t even begin to describe it! ✨ Standout dish: The Scarlet Shrimp (2nd photo)—unbelievably flavorful broth, tender meat, and a crispy head packed with umami. 🎉 Biggest surprise: We were invited into the kitchen post-meal to sip wine and share Basque cheesecake with the chef!
