Iceland's Best Lamb Soup! 🐏

If there's one dish Iceland is famous for, it's their lamb soup. And this place truly serves the best lamb soup I've ever had in Iceland. I tried lamb soup at several places during my trip, but this one stood out. 🐑The Lamb Soup 🐏 Svarta Kaffið only serves two types of soup: lamb and vegetable. I highly recommend the lamb soup. I didn't try the vegetable soup, but the lamb soup is truly exceptional. The broth is perfectly balanced, not overly salty, and has a pleasant sweetness that makes it incredibly comforting. A unique feature of this place is that their lamb soup is free to refill. We loved it so much that we asked for a second bowl. 🍞Bread Bowl 🥪 The bread bowl is quite hard initially, but as you finish the soup, it softens up a bit. By the time you get your second bowl, you can use the bread to soak up the soup—it's a delightful way to finish the meal. The Experience: The overall flavor of the food in Iceland is very fresh, but this lamb soup is in a league of its own. The only downside is that we only had the chance to visit once. If I ever return to Iceland, I'll definitely make a point to come back here for another bowl of their amazing lamb soup. Restaurant Details: 🏠Name: Svarta Kaffið 🗺️Address: Laugavegi 54, 101 Reykjavik, Iceland #FoodDiary #RestaurantRecommendation #Iceland #Reykjavik #LambSoup
