Iceland Food Guide(part 1)
Geysir Centre Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered lamb shank, fish & chips, and drinks (ISK 7,860) Expected mediocre tourist spot food but was pleasantly surprised. The lamb was juicy and tender, fish was sweet and plump with perfect crispy exterior. Huge portions - great value. Black Crust Pizzeria in Vik ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Got No.1 langoustine pizza & No.2 duck pizza (ISK 7,780) After an exhausting day in stormy weather, this cozy pizzeria was heaven. Packed even off-peak with long lines - we luckily got the last table. Pakkhus Restaurant in Höfn ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered lobster soup, lobster, cod and drinks (ISK 16,130) Mixed reviews online. Nice harbor views from window seats. Arrived around 2pm with no wait. Lobster soup was flavorful but salty - better with bread. Z-Bistro in Höfn ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had pork ribs, lobster pasta and drinks (ISK 8,780) Many choose this when Pakkhus is full. The creamy lobster pasta was surprisingly delicious (first bite amazing though rich - better shared). More affordable option. #Pakkhús Restaurant#Black Crust Pizzeria#Geysir Centre# Höfn #Z-Bistro# Höfn #Island#food guide#Island travel
