If You Only Eat at One Michelin Restaurant in Paris
Choose Epicure and you won't be disappointed! 🌟 I started looking two months in advance and finally settled on this three-Michelin-starred restaurant. The experience was fantastic – truly deserving of its reputation! 🎉 You can either order à la carte or go for the tasting menu. We chose à la carte so we could share dishes and try the amazing blue lobster and desserts that aren't on the tasting menu. Starter - Crab 🌟 Fresh and sweet crab meat, perfectly seasoned with citrus and a light mayonnaise cream. It's not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The flavors are unique! 🦀 - Asparagus A bit ordinary for the price, but still delicious. It's good asparagus, but nothing extraordinary for €110. 🥦 - Blue Lobster 🌟🌟 Absolutely stunning! Only available à la carte, not on the set menu. The blue lobster is tender and succulent, and the beetroot vinaigrette is perfectly balanced. 🦞 Main - Mediterranean Red Mullet 🌟 The fish is incredibly fresh and sweet, with tender meat that melts on your tongue. The fish broth is similar to bouillabaisse and bursting with flavor. The artichoke is the sweetest and most delicious I've ever had. 🐟 - Pigeon 🌟🌟 The best pigeon I've ever tasted! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of tenderness and a rich, flavorful meat. The whiskey-based sauce is divine, and the morel mushrooms wrapped with pigeon liver pâté are incredibly aromatic. Finish by mopping up the sauce with bread. 🕊️ Dessert - Rhubarb A large portion with a very tangy flavor – it's so sour it makes my teeth ache! 🍓 - Honey 🌟 The waiter's recommendation turned out to be a delightful surprise. Only available à la carte, this dessert features citrus and honeycomb ice cream, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. It's refreshing and delicious. 🍯 The amuse-bouche and bread were a bit average, but the transitional dishes were quite nice. The petit fours were a mixed bag – the sorbet was very sour, but the other three were quite good, especially the chocolate, which was unique. 🍪 We ordered drinks, and the total for two people was over €850. It was quite filling, and the portions for the starters and mains were larger than I expected. We shared the starters and mains, so the photos show half portions. The service was excellent, and to celebrate the hotel's 100th anniversary, we received bread as a gift. The brioche and chocolate sauce were quite tasty! 🥖 📍 Epicure #FrenchMichelin #ParisianEats #ParisianCuisine #FineDining #MichelinRestaurant #ThreeMichelinStars
